At Own Homes, we understand how important it is to make a property a home, for however long you happen to live there. Our lettings team are focused on matching up the right tenants with suitable properties and landlords, essentially we create a partnership that benefits all involved. For this to be the case, the property needs to be of a high standard and well maintained with the letting process being as straightforward as possible for everybody concerned.

At Own Homes, we make it our mission to have:
Finding a letting property that meets your needs can be a challenge. Some landlords will only let to professionals or couples, meaning that there’s little choice for families with young children or pets. Perhaps you work from home and need some office space or you have relatives visiting often so you need a couple of spare rooms, or maybe you only need a place during the week so a small studio or bedsit type arrangement is perfect.
At OWN HOMES, we endeavour to sign up a wide range of properties to ensure that we can meet a diverse set of needs. We have great relationships with landlords who have multiple properties or who are involved in development projects, so we often know what’s coming onto the market before other agents. Tell us what you need and we’ll find it.
What’s the process?
It’s simple, we promise.
1. Find a property – consider the type of property you want or need, the area you’d like to live and what type of letting contract you require (short-term or longer term).
2. Get your finances in order – we’ll be upfront about any fees.
3. Sign up – we’ll advise on paperwork and any reference checks that may be required.
4. Pick up your keys!
OWN HOMES have been established since 2008 so we know what we’re doing when it comes to letting property. We are members of the Property Redress Scheme (PRS).

OWN HOMES offers a full management service to our landlords, meaning we are your point of contact to solve any issues that may arise, which we do quickly and efficiently. We can talk you through the different types of tenancy agreements and what your obligations are throughout a contract period and when a tenancy is coming to an end. At the end of your tenancy, your deposit should be returned in full, unless the landlord needs to make reasonable deductions. We advise all of our landlords to place deposits in a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.
